From a fleeting glance to enduring companionship, I am Joan, founder of Inic Design studio. For many years, I poured my heart and soul into brand planning and merchandise display for commercial spaces and department stores. It's a field where visual appeal must be precisely calculated to capture the attention of passersby in an instant. However, after countless commercial projects showcasing exceptional visuals, I began to extend this sensitivity to "visuals and display" to a deeper, more human realm—"home." Using the eye of display to envision life's memories. Shifting from commercial space to residential design, I realized that the essence of design is no longer strong "attraction," but gentle "inclusivity." I often contemplate the relationship between "spatial breathing" and "life's display." A home shouldn't just be a showroom filled with rigid decorations, but a container that holds memories and reserves for future possibilities. In the past, I had the highest sensitivity to trends in space; now, I display the warmth and trajectory of life within the space. Finding that "just right" balance. By streamlining circulation, coordinating materials, and arranging everyday objects, I strive to eliminate unnecessary distractions and find the most stable balance in each space.
